When Dale began his musical career, his dads bit of wisdom, “Happy are they that dream dreams and are willing to pay the price to see them come true," is what he started with. His dad also gave him a little scrap of paper he carries to this day it simply reads, “Entertainment”. He told him to put it in his wallet as a reminder. "Entertain the people son. That's what it's all about", Dale continues to pursue that goal.

Big Dreams and Empty Pockets is the culmination of the quest Dale started when he first went to Nashville.  He’s paid his dues having worked the road crews of several Nashville stars (Trisha Yearwood, Lorrie Morgan, Ricky Skaggs) to name a few as well as working his share of small venues, and American Legion halls.

The songs on his new project are inspired from Dale’s own real life experiences. The title track “Big Dreams and Empty Pockets” tells the story, in a whimsical way, of his struggle to succeed and accomplish those big dreams. “Every Time We Throw Dirt We Lose Ground” has a message that millions of couples can say amen to as they realize the damaging effects of speaking before thinking. “That's My Mom” is an anthem to mothers everywhere. As a writer and artist, Dale’s desire is to take raw emotions and weave them together to create music that everyone can identify with.
